Activities & Events

There is always something going on year round in Colebrook and the Great North Woods.

Hiking

We have awesome hiking trails for the beginner as well as the expert all within a few miles of our property. Some take all day and others a few hours. The COHO's trail, The Balsams, breathtaking Table Rock, and Monadnock Mountain to name just a few in the area.

Fishing, Kayak and Canoe

​ We have two major rivers, lots of lakes and plenty of streams in our area.

Golfing

Colebrook has an 18 hole course downtown. 

Nature Watching

Looking for Moose is a favorite pastime in the Great North Woods. Sometimes they are right in the campground along with deer, bear, eagles, and just about anything else. Please do not feed them!

Biking

We have lots of dirt roads and lots of hills for mountain biking and several dedicated trails.

ATV Trails
"RIDE THE WILDS" 1,000 miles of ATV trails.  Coos County is becoming the premiere area for developing fantastic ATV trails on the east coast. 
 
Ride directly from our property onto the trails. We have a separate entrance and exit exclusively for ATV traffic!
 
This sport is for all ages. Ride our trails for hundreds of miles and see magnificent views of the Great North Woods. There is plenty of wildlife to be seen also. You can ride from Gorham-Berlin to the Canadian Border and beyond. ATV's and UTV's, side by sides, are allowed on Coos County trails! You can even ride on our downtown roads in Colebrook to visit stores and restaurants.

Events

Colebrook and surronding towns have events year round.  There is always a parade on Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day. Firewoks are displayed on these holidays. We also have Moose Festival, Blessing of the Bikes, Winter Carnival,  a Corn Maze, and many, many more events. See a concert at the Tillotson Center, or swim in our indoor community pool. Snowmobile and ATV trails take you hundreds of miles or just hike on the many trails for both experts and novices. We have fantastic fishing in our numerous lakes, rivers, and streams. Or just come on up to view moose, deer, bear, and lots of eagles and falcons. This is the Great North Woods where something exciting is always going on. Pick up a Moosley Information booklet for a year round list of monthly activities available free at the campground office. The above are just a few of the most popular. You haven't seen a parade until you see Colebrooks! As a matter of fact you see our parades twice!!! Ask for our monthly event calendar at the office.
